Well, its officially 2010. Well, at least in Australia it is.
And I am personally thrilled to be celebrating another year of the human race not blowing ourselves up WITH BIG SHINY EXPLOSIVES.

Well, I know I said I'd do the features TOMMMOROW, but I'll probably be far to busy to get around to it. SO without further adeu, I present;

RAMIKIN'S FEATURE FEST.

Firstly is "Waiting" by *M-o-n-s-t-a-R



If you know me well, you would probably know that I'm not often impressed with horse art (excluding Lianna's) But when I saw this my first reaction was one of absolute amazment. This gosh darned picture is entirely stippled. For those of you who don't know what this technique entails; Stippling is rendering with dots, so instead of shading your picture using lines, you just dot and dot and dot. Well, you'll get it when you see the picture.
Fullview is a must with this baby. Incredible.

Next up is "Hard Times" by =cadydid



This photo is simply adorable, in a sad sort of way. Its so cold whever these pigeons are that they all huddle around this flame for warmth. The contrasting colours of the blue and the orangeflame make this an amazing photo, and not one you could easily forget. Again, fullview is a must.

Although my next feature has already received a DD for her amazing photgraphy, I think she deserves alot more recognition than shes getting. For someone so young she already displays photographic talents that even the most experianced photographer struggles to attain.

You guys really need to check her out.

This image has quite a few favorites, but I still think you guys need to see it. Its one of those images that just seems to tug at you somewhere, and I think that is a really difficult thing to get through in your artwork.

My dear, loving friend =PeanutToTheButter Deserves mention here too. She is only 15.. or 16 or whatever age she is, and she is already vastly more talented than I could ever hope to be. Give her some love. Now.

She painted a picture for my mum after she bought her a subscription. AND IT WAS AWESOME.

Fly are ugly, they buzz around and stick to your face when your trying to sleep, but this phot gave me a whole new respect for them.

Second lastly, (but most certainly not at all leastly) is "r a i n b o w V e i n s" By ~Roseille
Again, this has quite a few faves, but I think it deserves more. This picture was inspired by an owl city song (One of the only bands that ~Andiiieeee likes that I can stand) and is ABSOLUTELY COLOURIFFIC! It made me so happy, and it can make you happy too by your going and favoriting it.



FINALLY, I would like to give a big thumbs up to ~pehzazz for her fear-gasm inspiring fanart of Doctor Who's "blink" episode.
I know she's my sister, but I would love this even if I didn't know her.
Go give her bucket fulls of the most condensed love you can, because she is insanely talented and deserves it.
